Change Your Life… Regain Your Health

Chiropractic Care, Serving Southaven, MS and The Mid-South

Welcome New Patients!

The first appointment is broken up into two days, Day One and Day Two. We do this to save you time. This also allows the Doctor the time he needs to review all the information and decide if you can benifit from care and if he will Accept your Case.

  • Day One

    (60-90 Minutes)

Day one we’ll need you to fill out a few forms and then you will spend time with the Doctor. During this time, a review of your pertinent history will be covered, an Examination will be performed (including a Specific spinal scan and postural evaluation), and if necessary Specific Digital Radiographs (x-rays) will be taken.

Following the radiographs a second Spinal scan will be done. Once all of the tests have been performed, then you’ll schedule the next available time for the Doctor. The Doctor will then go over all the Findings with you and your Spouse. The Doctor will explain whether you can benifit from care and if he will accept your case.

  • Day Two

    (45-75 Minutes)

On this Visit the results of your evaluation and specific X-Rays will be gone over with You and Your Spouse in great detail. If your condition Qualifies for Care, and the Doctor Accepts your Case this means that the Doctor believes your condition can be helped through Upper Cervical Care.

The Doctor will let you know:

    1. How long it should take to see improvements in your condition.
    2. How long before your spine is stable and Healthy.
    3. What to expect during the course of Care.
    4. How many visits it will take.

However, if he cannot manage to help you, he will tell you that too.We pride ourselves in being thorough and spending the necessary time for each individual. Your questions are welcomed and we will gladly take the necessary time to explain the answers.

    The Adjustment

There is NO Twisting, Cracking, or Popping with the Adjustment. After the Adjustment Expect to Rest About 45-60 min. This is to help re-enforce and stabilize the area. We encourage a long rest period because we have seen patients improve faster this way. This is a very important part of the procedure. Then a post-Adjustment Spinal Scan will be done to ensure the quality of the Adjustment. If the Interference was removed then a follow up
    visit will be scheduled.

* Not all Patients Qualify and are Accepted for Care
* We Ask that you bring you Spouse or Significant other to the Second Day Visit because They will Have Questions and the Doctor would like to Answer any questions they may have.
